Hooking up a TV or gamecube in your car?

Basically, my family and I are leaving for a family vacation tomorrow and we are planning on hooking up a portable dvd player(which has the red yellow and white inputs) to our van with its 12 volt cigarette adapter, but we also wanna hook up our gamecube and the problem is we need some cable or something to plug the power cable from the gamecube into our vans other 12 volt adapter. Does anyone know what kind of adapter we would need and how much it would cost?

The Gamecube uses a straight 12v power supply, however Nintendo has conveniently designed the DC plug to be a unique style that prevents you from using an inexpensive 12v vehicle adapter with standard barrel plug. Your best bet is to pick up a (overpriced) Nintendo Gamecube vehicle adapter at any video game store, or Walmart etc. Sorry, I don't know the cost offhand.
