Playstation 2 Car Power Supply?

I need some sort of power cable to connect to my ps2 to my tv in my car, Could i plug the red, white & yellow cords into my portable DVD player & then connect my dvd player into my tv? please i need help fast! I leave tommorow morning! where can i buy 1? I called target, walmart, meijer, they all said no

1. if the connectons on your portable DVD player are INPUTS then yes you can connect your PS2 to these connections, if they are OUTPUTS then no you can not.. for power you need to pick yourself up a power inverter, it will connect to the cigarette lighter, and give you a standard 110VAC outlet to plug your PS2 into..
2. Sounds like it will work. We've done it with our systems in my boyfriend's truck before. No harm in trying it out. Although, you need to have an acutal power supply for the outlet, either out of your car or some kind of adapter
