Can i bring my portable tv with me on to the airplane?

I'm going to meet up with my friend in michigan and we're going to drive down together back to L.A. I was wondering if i can bring my portable tv and batteries on to the airplane. Will they let me bring it?

1. Depends on the size and weight. If it's one of those tiny ones with the 4-inch screens, I can't see why they wouldn't allow it. But you should check with the size/weight allowances on the airline's website. If your carry-on luggage doesn't fit into a certain sized container they have there, then they won't allow it.
