Can you adjust the colour on HITACHI portable TV model no C1411T without remote control?

Hi I've just bought a second hand portable tv for my spare room, from British Heart Foundation shop, I didn't think having no remote would matter as I have a spare universal remote, but didn't think how I would be able to adjust the colour. Can you help? Thank you to Anthony B for answer 1. Unfortunately I've been trying this with nothing happening. Any more suggestions?

Press and hold down the first button(left of the vol- button)until the Program Index menu appears on-screen.Ensure you hold this button down until Program Index appears as the Sound menu appears first for a short time Use the PROG UP or Down buttonsto highlight the function required and change its level with the VOL+ or- buttons To store new settings highlight STORE in the menu by using the PROG UP or Down buttons then press the VOL+or- button Finally press the first button on the left again to return to normal operation
