Battery Operated Televisions

I purchased a portable TV/radio that is battery or electrical powered and get VERY poor reception. Can U help?

Purchased a portable TV, radio, light, that is battery and/or electrical powered and has a pull up antenna. The reception is almost non-existent. I need more help than foil or copper wire hanging from the antenna. Purchasing this item was not the best purchase I ever made but what can I say? Need better TV reception.. Any ideas?

1. This type of tv usually doesn't have a very good tuner, so unless you are close to a broadcasting station or hooked up to a good antenna system don't expect much.
2. I don't suppose it has a socket to which you can connect a cable to a proper, outside, antenna? Or do you want to use it away from home? There is solution for use in the house but it's not very elegant. If you do want details, send a message to me.
