Battery Operated Televisions

I Put a broken portable TV in the bin. How long will it take to rot away to nothing in a landfill?

1. I dont think it will ever rot! But they will crush it to bits, and future archaeologists may be very excited to find a piece in 500 years! :o)
2. its not bio-degradable so a very long time
3. Depends if you have one of these new-fangled "Tree-TVs" .. picture is terrible apparently (as generally stuck on Natural History programs), but no problem with rotting.
4. It might never get to the landfill, the Trashman might want it for himself. sorry
