Do you have a Portable TV/DVD player in your vehicle?

We have purchased one for our Daughter- As she HATES her carseat and literally screams, cries, pitches a fit and just makes the ride miserable for not only herself, but the me and her dad- it makes it hard to concentrate when were constantly trying to calm her. So, I find this to be a lifesaver for the car! She is tuned in and loves it. The car ride is much easier for both she, and us! She only watches educational movies (little einstein mainly) So, do youhave one? Or, better yet, what is the last purchase you made that seemed to be a wise investment?

1. No. My son still is uninterested in TV. He is 15 months. We plan to get one when he is a little older, but he loves going for car rides.
2. Yes, we do have a portable DVD in our car. We bought a set of two. So we have one behind the drivers seat and one behind the passenger seat. My children LOVE it! It works so well, especially for my 21 month old who would scream hysterically whenever he got in the car.. now we put a DVD on for him, and he's as quiet as can be!

4. You know, I always thought, someday, when my kids are older we could get one of those for long trips. Well, When I found out I was pregnant with my third baby we realized we needed a bigger vehicle. The one we bought came equipped with a DVD player. Recently I had to take a trip and that came in so handy when they started getting fussy after 3 hours of driving (7 hour trip). I am so happy we have it now. So far, only have to use it for really long trips.

6. no, we didn't need one, she is happy in her carseat....wise investment? i dk, but we bought her a little tikes truck and a pushcar that can ride outside even through the grass and she loves them both!!
