Can I use a Playstation 3 with an old style portable tv?

We're going on holiday to a cottage with an old style, ie not flat screen portable tv. Will this be useable for our teenage son?

1. As long as the TV has A/V Composite inputs (Yellow RCA input). Even if all it has is the even older coaxial connection, a PS2 RF adapter should theoretically work since all other PS2 video cables work on the PS3.
2. You will be able to, might not look as stunning as it would on a huge flat plasma but hey he's still able to play, who's he to complain.
3. Yes i think you can as long as there are the output sockets ( the yellow, red and white sockets)
4. You can go from the RCA's from the PS3 through a VCR and into the TV if you don't have an RCA option on the TV. But you will not be able to watch DVD's this way, well, you will, but they will get dark, then bright, then dark, etc. Or you could pick up a PS3 RF adapter. 5. you can yeah i did it with my ps3 when i got it first i just used the old lead from he ps2, hooked that up to ps3 then to the connection on the tv ie he coaxial.
