Battery Operated Televisions

have you ever had one of those 5" portable black and white TVs for the car? How was the reception? Decent?

1. yeah, great. Got a colour one now. No reception in tunnels so don't stop in any :)
2. my guess is that it wouldn't keep a great reception while moving unless you had a built in flip down lcd with a tv tuner and even high quality tv tuners for cars dont get good reception while driving but if you are going to use it while not driving it should be fine but it all depends how far you are from the tv tower and how much interferance there is but you could go for a drive on the freeway and see if you can keep a singnal.
