- The Amazon site doesn't say, if these displays have a separate video-in plug, or if they only take the video feed from the DVD player. But let's assume, that they do. You will face another problem: The Xbox 360 needs a lot of power. You will need a upconverter to get a wall outlet socket from your car's 12V battery. Make sure, the upconverter can sustain loads of 180 Watts (to have some safety headroom, go for 200 Watts). Also don't use the console when the motor is off, as this will drain your battery extremely quick. Currently all setups, where I saw the Xbox 360 built in a car (e.g. in showrooms and the like) use an external power source. Also keep in mind, that the spinning disc in the XBox 360 will probably be scratched if you drive the car, while the disc is being jerked inside the drive from driving around curves and bumps on the road. So make sure, that you install the games on the harddisc first, and only use the disc to let the console check it's presence for copy protection reasons.
