How to work a TMK portable tv(model # 701, made in december 1983)?

Hey if any body can help me out w/ working this tv. Ive been trying to figure it out. If any body could help in any way it will be greatly appreciated!

1. Unfortunately, it won't work any more without a converter, because an older TV only gets analog stations, and they are all digital since last year. You can use it with a converter (the ones the government was giving coupons for last year), but it's not very portable that way. If you need a portable TV, then you really need to buy one made in the last couple of years. Fortunately, they've finally come down in price, and you can get them for about $60 now.
